DESARU DAY FISHING
Head out to Desaru, Malaysia for a Day Fishing Trip with SG Fishing Charter! The skippered boat is manned by a fishing captain, crew and your expedition leader from Singapore
Desaru is just a 2 hour drive from the Causeway (depending on traffic), and gives access to fishing in the South China Sea, where we target pelagics such as the Spanish Mackerel (locally known as Tengeri) and bottom fish
This is a one day trip from Singapore, suitable for groups of up to five people

* Return time depends on traffic at the Causeway - on weekends and holidays the traffic can be very bad, such that you arrive home in the very late night

Basic 35ft fishing boat, with twin 150hp engines
The boat has NO toilet, you'll have to do what you have to do off the boat
For ladies, we apologise for the inconvenience! If you need to go, everyone will move to the front of the boat while you settle at the back of the boat.... sorry!!

Bottom set up
Rod: At least PE2 rod which can take size 4 to 6 sinkers
Reel size: At least 4000 spinning
Line: 20lb braided main line, 40lb fluorocarbon (FC) leader
Jigging: Jig weight 40g-100g
Casting: Lure weight 40g - 60g

We recommend to purchase the Lure Pack that will give you some variety of techniques to try out and flexibility to adjust to the conditions and actions on the day
